I’m Miechelle Juul Hwang, the founder of EvigJoi — and yes, I do think oncology education can be a little rock and roll and full of joy.
I’m an international educator, but I’m a practitioner first. My background is rooted in hands-on clinical work; years spent in hospital settings and running my own practice, building a deep understanding of oncology massage, lymphatic care, and complex post-surgical recovery. Whether supporting clients through active cancer treatment or managing conditions like lymphedema and lipedema, that real-world experience shapes everything I bring into the classroom.
I also work directly with survivors through wellness workshops and small group sessions, focused on practical lymphatic care and helping participants reconnect with and feel more in control of their own bodies.
As an educator, my focus has always been the same: helping therapists take complex medical concepts and turn them into skills they can actually use. Not just theory — clinical techniques and massage modifications they feel confident applying the very next day.
EvigJoi is how I bring that mission to practitioners around the world. Clinically rigorous, practically focused, and designed for the real work you do every day.
My goal is to bridge the gap between science and human touch. When high-level skill meets genuine empathy, we don’t just address symptoms, we support the whole person and the therapist too

Our courses give therapists the tools, confidence, and clinical insight to work safely and effectively with complex clients. Alongside practitioner training, we also offer wellness workshops for cancer survivors, designed to help participants take an active role in their own recovery and wellbeing.
We come to you. EvigJoi offers hosted training, meaning we bring education directly to your location, making high-quality oncology massage training accessible no matter where you are in the world.
