S4OM — Society for Oncology Massage

S4OM is the professional home for oncology massage therapists worldwide. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, research, and professional standards, S4OM sets the bar for safe, evidence-informed practice in our field.

As an S4OM member and educator myself, I recommend joining for any therapist serious about oncology massage. Membership connects you to a global community of like-minded practitioners, keeps you current with evolving research, and gives you a collective voice in shaping the future of this specialty.

If you are training with Evigjoi, becoming part of S4OM is a natural next step in building a practice you can be proud of.

Evigjoi is actively working toward S4OM course recognition. We will update this page when that process is complete.

Risk Reduction Practices for Lymphedema

Wellness within Collab with Miechelle Juul Hwang and Michelle Sanderson – watch video on YouTube.

Linda

Miechelle has been a true gift to me during my breast cancer journey. I was referred to Miechelle’s practice by a friend after being diagnosed with lymphedema in my breast in January of 2025. I have been a client of hers for over a year now. I am so pleased to say that with compression garments and physical therapy through my healthcare provider, along with oncology massage from Miechelle, I am living my best life with deep gratitude and little to no symptoms. Miechelle is a deeply professional, knowledgeable, and caring oncology massage therapist. The Nordic House Spa treatment room is soothing, peaceful, welcoming, and soothing. It is with true appreciation that I thank Miechelle for helping me to feel like myself again.

I feel so lucky to have found Miechelle while undergoing cancer treatments. Every step of my treatment has been just a little easier because of Miechelle’s expertise and understanding. From chemotherapy, to post surgery, lymphedema, and radiation she has been able to modify my sessions each time based on my current treatment and symptoms. She willingly shares helpful information and her positivity and openness about what I’m experiencing puts me at ease every time. I highly recommend her services to everyone but especially if you are a cancer patient!

Thanks,
